Five years ago we bought our land in Paradise with hopes of someday retiring on the peaceful property. When our daughter got engaged, she begged us to build a wedding barn. Instead she and her fiancé picked out the perfect spot on the land for the ceremony. The family spent a year preparing the site for the occasion and even named it Wedding Hill. When the couple was married under the huge oak tree overlooking the pond it was breath taking, even if it was during a torrential downpour. We knew we wanted to host many more weddings on our land but also knew we would need a structure. We prayed for several months and consulted with many professionals. Since having conformation, we have been moving forward taking all the steps needed to build the barn from the ground up. Careful consideration has gone into every detail and decision from the oak tree becoming the inspiration for our logo to the location of the barn next to the pond. We feel we have been blessed by this opportunity and we want others to enjoy it, too. We are commited to serving and giving back to our local community and are planning several ways to contribute. The Barn at Paradise Plantation is the perfect setting for weddings, corpoprate, school and church events or banquets, and family reunions. We know you will enjoy celebrating your event at our little slice of Paradise.

Follow along on our journey as we design and build from the ground up a wedding barn that we hope brings beauty and light to your special day.  Give us a call today to schedule your tour!

Mike, Amanda and Logan Rose Bohrer

Hey Y’all! We’re The Bohrer’s and I guess you can say this beautiful place came to fruition back in May of 2015 when we had the crazy of idea of clearing the land and making this our wedding site. It was the most magical day and we want YOU to experience that too! Amanda, as the Venue Director, will be here for you from initial contact to when you ride off in the night.  Mike, as the Property Manager, will ensure that every detail of The Barn at Paradise Plantation is in perfect condition for your special day. If we’re not at The Barn, you can find us with our little girl Logan Rose and our puppies or building something special for our rental company Something Vintage Something New

Give us a call – we can’t wait to meet you and show you where a true love story began!

❤ Giving Back

Not only do we want to host beautiful weddings, but we also want to give back to the community.  Our first opportunity to give back will be to make it a yearly tradition to host a Thanksgiving meal to the less fortunate in Wise County.
